I'm about to graduate from high school, finally in about four weeks.I live in North Carolina, I'm 17 years old. I don't turn 18 till September 2010. My dream college is OSU, just because I have heard, it has a big department in Psychology, that's the field of studies I am passion about falling into and hopefully I can become either a Psychologist or a Clinical Psychologist. I applied to it, but I haven't got any notification about it yet. I'm not even sure if I am eligible into being accepted. I looked at all the videos on the website on how students got in, what made me feel confident was one of the student saying, she never got into a AP class when she was in High school. I couldn't have a chance to have a AP or a CP class. I was going to have a CP class in my sophomore year but one of the teachers that was 'watching me' pulled me out and put me into a regular class. Just because she thought it was best for me. Right now I already finished a college credit class called medical terminology, It was like me taking college really early but it was difficult but only due to the fact my teacher was being spoken through the TV and my exams, quizzes was through the computer which didn't satisfied me. I needed to have a pencil in my hand with the teacher lecturing over my head, not through the computer where we could have technical difficulties. I am still taking an Online class that is a High school Psychology class where I take it through blackboard. I enjoy the class and it's harder to keep up with because I have to be independent to keep up with the work without anyone telling me what to do, again I have to do exams and quizzes through the computer, not my way of taking quizzes, but learning about it is fun, but over all I'm ahead of the class where to the point the teacher hasn't put up the next assignment in days yet. My GPA is just 3.0 I have all my credits in high school along with one point of college credit (from Medical) I couldn't and wasn't able to do any most outside of school activities such as sports due to the fact my mom was over protective and I couldn't leave the house most of the time. I was mostly, isolated in that house. I did attended Art Club, French Club and was in a play. Was in several art shows, due to the fact I only work on cartoonist, I wasn't able to compete with realistic artists or the judges. I'm having trouble and feeling if my body was going to shake it self to death due to the fact I want to get into OSU but I have a feeling I'll be rejected. Do I have a chance to get in?
